Love Is Blind’s Ashley Adionser Reacts to Tyler Francis Fathering 3 Three Kids: ‘Such Slander’

Love Is Blind season 7 star Ashley Adionser broke her silence amid claims her fiancé, Tyler Francis, isn’t involved in the lives of the three kids he fathered.

Ashley, 32, responded to an Instagram comment on Saturday, October 19, slamming one follower for “spreading” rumors about Tyler, 35, according to TikTok account storytimewithrikkii.

“Girl with all this stuff coming out about him, WITH PROOF! I hope you don’t disappoint me cause this man is FOUL!” the comment read. “A whole daddy! A broke one at that cause he owes MULTIPLE woman money!!!!!”

Ashley responded from her verified Instagram account, asking the user if she knew Tyler “personally” to be “spreading such slander” about her “cast mate.”

“Regardless of the choice I made, I’ll do whatever is best for me the way I assume you live your life,” the Netflix star clapped back. “Food for thought, before I go, beware of social media and the alleged unauthenticated ‘proof’ you speak of. I pray that you’ll attempt to lead with kindness moving forward.”

Ashley got engaged to Tyler after their time in the pods during season 7 of Love Is Blind, which began airing on Netflix on October 2. Tyler quickly became the villain of the series when he dropped a bombshell on Ashley two weeks before they were set to walk down the aisle, revealing that he had fathered three children.

At the time, he explained that he had chosen to help a lesbian couple he “knew” because they couldn’t have children of their own. He said he had only donated his sperm and suggested that he wasn’t involved in the children’s lives in any way.

After the episode aired, Bri Thomas, the mother of the three children, quickly shut down his claims in a lengthy post on social media.

“I have no understanding why he would characterize his relationship with his children as he has,” Bri wrote on October 10. She also shared footage of Tyler spending time with the three children — a 7-year-old son and 5-year-old twin daughters — during the holidays, directly contradicting his claim that he wasn’t involved in their lives.

“‘Family… Holidays… what does that look like.’ Here a few videos three days after Christmas ‘22 (Filming occurred October 2023. Which makes this the Christmas before filming),” Bri wrote in the since-deleted post. “My children love their ‘Dad.’ To think that he has reduced them to ‘sperm babies,’ when I was told he was going on the show to be able to better provide for them, is the most absurd and hurtful thing ever. My kids don’t deserve this.”

Life & Style exclusively revealed that Tyler’s custody case with Bri was reopened after the filming of Love Is Blind season 7. Bri originally filed for custody in Baltimore City Circuit Court in October 2021, and the case was settled on May 6, 2022. It was then reopened in January 2024, with the next disposition hearing scheduled for November 15. While rumors have circulated that Tyler owes multiple women money, Life & Style confirmed he owes $8,605 in a civil judgment to a woman named Paige Thomas, which was filed in August 2023. It remains unclear if there are additional women to whom he is in debt.

Additionally, Lovetta Thomas, who claimed to be Bri’s mother, accused Tyler of disappearing from the children’s lives once he began filming Love Is Blind.

“Love is Blind Season 7… Washington DC…. Do Y’all know who this is??? Or where he is, cuz his 3 kids been looking for him!!!” Lovetta wrote in a Facebook post on October 7.

Tyler teased an explanation for the drama on October 14, writing in an Instagram comment, “Just be patient, I’ll explain it all very soon.” In an additional comment, he said that he “didn’t owe anyone an explanation.”

“But I’ll give you one lol the conversation was longer than what was shown and a lot of off camera conversations were had,” he concluded.
