Love Is Blind’s Hannah Jiles Reacts to Fan Criticism on How She Treated Nick Dorka
Love Is Blind season 7 star Hannah Jiles received a lot of backlash from fans for her behavior toward ex-fiancé Nick Dorka. Now, she’s reacting to the viewers’ feedback and has “learned there’s things [she] need[s] to work on.”
“For example, I am a very direct person. I know that but I think my delivery is rough — and delivery is everything,” Hannah, 27, said during an October 15 episode of “The Viall Files” podcast. “When you can see it you’re like, ‘Gosh that was really harsh.’ So I’ve learned to be kinder [and] work on my delivery.”
The medical sales representative also admitted that “sometimes just because it’s the truth and it’s what you’re feeling doesn’t mean that you have to say it out loud. Maybe think about it, think about the delivery, be a little softer.”
Hannah’s journey on Love Is Blind started out rocky and never got any smoother. Not only was she in a love triangle between Nick, 29, and Leo Braudy, but she initially chose Leo over Nick before taking back her decision and later accepting the real estate agent’s proposal. However, fans were convinced that Hannah wasn’t impressed upon seeing Nick during their grand reveal ahead of their pod squad exit.
“Hannah is ridiculous. She was all upset because he thinks about the physical … what does she do when she sees him? She judges his physical appearance,” one person wrote via Facebook. “He was a red flag in the 1st episode but he has surprised me. He has depth, he is funny, but he seems to really care.”
Deal of the Day

Hannah not only got mad at Nick for racing a woman on the beach, but she also had an issue with him talking to Love Is Blind costar Katie Bollinger during the joint cast Great Gatsby themed party.
“Were you guys talking about how f–ing fabulous I am or were you f–ing talking about your past relationships?” Hannah snapped at Nick after they got home from the party. “Are you mature enough Nick? Because I’ve taught you everything you know. I’ve turned you from a boy into a f–kng man. I’ve done everything for you.”
Hannah and Nick’s engagement ended during LiB season 7, episode 11, when she admitted that they couldn’t progress enough in their relationship to get married. During their conversation, Hannah spoke to Nick in a demeaning tone and repeatedly asked him if he had any responsibilities in life.
“I think for me, it just came down to: I saw my friends [with him], my family was there, and I just had a moment where I was kind of like, what am I doing?” Hannah told People in a story published on October 16. “If I’m still seeing all these issues and I’m just being mean to this man, I feel like I’m just dogging on this man, this is probably not someone that I want to be married to. It just all came to [this] realization, we shouldn’t be together.”
