Two 35 Mile Bike Rides Through New York In July

Heads up bike enthusiasts there are some cool events coming up this summer that you can enjoy. Bike Hudson Valley has a great list of events broken out by month and there are two this month that you may want to sign up for before it is too late.

With the installation of the Empire State Trail and the development of rail trails and linear parks, the Hudson Valley has become a bicycle playground. The numerous trails now available making it easier to get from place to place has opened up a whole new world to local bike fans.

No matter what type of bike you have you can enjoy so many wonderful trails throughout the Hudson Valley. You can also join some great rides including two that Bike Hudson Valley has scheduled in July.

Take a Bike Ride from Brewster to Poughkeepsie, New York

The Empire State Trail Tour has various rides throughout the year including the event on July 27th, 2024 that is an organized ride on the Empire State Trail from Brewster to Poughkeepsie. This ride runs about 35 miles and does connect to Metro-North.

Take a Bike Ride to a Brewery Using Metro North

The Hudson Valley Craft Brewery Bike Tour is scheduled for July 28th, 2024. Once again this is a 35-mile bike ride down the "old Put" path. It starts in Brewster, New York, takes you to Elmsford, and ends at the Captain Lawrence Brewery. This trail also allows you to meet up with Metro North.

Take a look at all of the tours the Bike Hudson Valley has planned for the year. If these two in July aren't what you are looking for something down the road later this year may be perfect.
