Meet Ava, the Golden Tiger Cub in Thailand Set to Be the Next Cute Viral Sensation
From the slippery moistness of Moo Deng, we now behold a furrier cute phenom: Ava, the golden tiger cub of Thailand.
Thailand is on a roll with these adorable Animals. The whole world is still obsessed with the slippery rascal known as Moo Deng whose fandom has grown exponentially. The pygmy hippo has memes, merch, and even songs written about her. However, it seems that she may have to share the spotlight because yet another cute animal is making the rounds and capturing the hearts of netizens. Meet Chiang Mai Night Safari’s golden tiger cub, Ava.

Ava, the golden tiger cub of Thailand
Ava is a rare breed of tiger known as a golden or strawberry tiger. Her unique and beautiful mane is a result of recessive genes, which makes them extremely rare. In fact, not more than 100 of them are believed to exist in the entire world. Lucky for Chiang Mai Night Safari, not only do they have Ava but they also have Luna, her older sister who’s also a golden tiger with the same exquisite fur.
It’s almost hard to believe that Ava is only a cub. Both she and her sister were born in 2021 and are only three years old. But photos posted by the zoo on Facebook of Ava with a zookeeper show her tremendous size. Because of her beautiful fur and her innocent-looking expression, many have commented that she’s like an overgrown kitten though we doubt anyone would want to be locked with her for even a few minutes.
Much like Moo Deng over at Khao Kheow Zoo, Ava and her sister Luna can be visited at Chiang Mai Night Safari. It might be best to pay them a visit now though. If there’s anything we’ve learned from Moo Deng, it’s that the zoo is bound to see an iNFLux of visitors soon.
