Matt O’Riley opened the scoring 35 minutes in with a thunderbolt from the edge of the box before a John Lundstram own goal doubled the Hoops’ advantage.

Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers got one back for the visitors but in the end, despite an O’Riley penalty miss, it wasn’t enough for Philippe Clement’s men.
