“That was fun” – Sutton’s Brilliant Reaction To Thrilling Glasgow Derby
Celtic have all but secured the title with a hard-fought Glasgow derby win in the Saturday sunshine.
It was a nervy affair towards the end for the home supporters, but the Bhoys pulled through to put the champagne on ice.
Matt O’Riley opened the scoring 35 minutes in with a thunderbolt from the edge of the box before a John Lundstram own goal doubled the Hoops’ advantage.
Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers got one back for the visitors but in the end, despite an O’Riley penalty miss, it wasn’t enough for Philippe Clement’s men.
The Belgian manager has been put to the sword and in three attempts, has still yet to beat Celtic.
He was rattled last week when Brendan Rodgers said his side would “have fun” today, but that is exactly what they did.
Indeed, not long after full-time, former Hoops striker turned pundit Chris Sutton alluded to these comments in a post on X:
That was fun🤣🤣

With two Games to go, Celtic sit pretty at the top of the table.
A point at Rugby Park on Wednesday night would secure the title but if the Gers slip up at Ibrox versus Dundee on Tuesday, Brendan Rodgers’ men will be officially crowned champions.
