Celtic have named their starting 11 to face Hearts tonight at Tynecastle, with Aberdeen losing at St Mirren and Rangers drawing against Dundee United.

The Hoops now have the chance to go three clear of the Dons and 11 clear of the Rangers, at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

With Celtic coming out on top 2-0 in the reverse fixture at Celtic Park, they will look to continue from that impressive win.

However, a 2-0 defeat against Hearts at Tynecastle in March, was the only defeat the Hoops suffered in the last three months of the season, last season.

Neil Critchley’s side go into the game in mixed form, with two wins in their previous six games, including defeats against Kilmarnock and the Rangers.

Kasper Schmeichel starts in goal, with Alistair Johnston at right-back.

Cameron Carter-Vickers returns to the side and is alongside fellow countryman Auston Trusty, with Greg Taylor capping off the back four.

With a number of options to choose from in midfield, captain Callum McGregor starts in midfield, with the skipper looking to continue his incredible goalscoring run away from home in the Scottish Premiership.

Alongside McGregor are Reo Hatate and Arne Engels in a strong midfield.

Ahead of Brugge midweek in the Champions League, Brendan Rodgers has shown that it is clearly one Game at a time.

Celtic’s front three is as expected, with Kyogo Furuhashi leading the line alongside Nicolas Kühn and Daizen Maeda.

Kickoff for tonight’s Game is 7:45pm, and it is live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.
