Celebrities Who Are Famous for Throwing the Best Hollywood Parties
There’s no denying that Hollywood celebrities work hard, but they party even harder. Throwing a mean party has always been the cornerstone of celebrity culture. While many celebrities are often amazing guests, it’s when they are the hosts that the magic truly happens. With A-lister attendees, jaw-dropping décor, and seemingly unlimited budgets, some celebrities know how to throw parties that people will remember for years — and make the rest of us wish we were on their guest lists.
P. Diddy’s famous “white party” was once one of the most iconic events in Hollywood history. But recently, stories about his controversial ‘freak-off’ parties have cast a shadow on the glitz and glamour of celebrity celebrations, hinting at the darker side of Hollywood. While it’s hard to know what really goes on behind closed doors, we can only hope these events are about fun, celebration, and making connections, rather than anything more insidious.
These famous hosts are known for transforming an intimate party into an amazing spectacle, whether it’s a wedding extravaganza or a lavish birthday bash. Discretion is essential, and those who make the guest list are in for an evening of luxury and surprises. And here are some celebrities who are at the top of their Game when it comes to setting up spectacular parties.
Celebrities who are known to host the most epic parties in Hollywood
Jay-Z and Beyoncé
Hollywood’s royal couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé are well-known not only for their music and business ventures, but also for throwing some of the most exclusive parties in the world. While the entire Diddy debacle has landed the power couple in some hot water with fans, leaving their motives in question, many celebrities have previously lauded their ability to throw a party.
Whether it’s their annual Roc Nation Brunch or Oscar’s afterparty, the Carters’ events are much-anticipated, and attended by numerous A-listers from the Entertainment Business. These gatherings reflect luxury, showcasing designer fashion, delicious food, and outstanding musical performances. Their New Year’s Eve and Halloween events are equally popular in Hollywood, with headline-grabbing themes and Celebrity guests. But, while celebrities in attendance often praise the Carters’ events, they nonetheless remain mum on the details about parties. Apparently, Queen Bee is deeply protective of her privacy.

DiCaprio’s parties often take place in luxurious locations like private islands or exclusive clubs.
For his 49th birthday party, he hosted a huge bash in Beverly Hills, where he both emceed and even rapped to entertain his guests. The star-studded guest list included Kim Kardashian, Chris Rock, Snoop Dogg, Salma Hayek, Olivia Wilde, Channing Tatum, Zoë Kravitz, Zoe Saldaña, Marco Perego, Al Pacino, and Rita Ora.

Everyone knows that the Kardashian-Jenners love to host parties. Momager Kris Jenner is an expert at hosting lavish parties, especially family gatherings and holiday-themed extravaganzas. As a long-standing family tradition, Kris holds an over-the-top Christmas Eve party every year, an event that has become a top priority for A-list celebs. However, in 2019, the matriarch passed on the mantle to Kim and Kourtney, allowing them to continue her tradition. The entire dramatic saga is well-documented on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the family’s reality TV show.
The annual party includes lavish décor, live music, and, of course, endless social media coverage from family and friends. Every year, Hollywood’s top personalities including Paris and Kathy Hilton, Scott Disick, Scottie and Larsa Pippen, Adele, and Jennifer Lopez attend the celebration. Artists such as Babyface, Sia, and John Legend perform to keep the attendees engaged. And thanks to Kendall’s 818 tequila and Kylie’s Sprinter, guests are quite literally kept in high spirits.
Heidi Klum
Since the 2000s, supermodel Heidi Klum has played host to a yearly Halloween celebration for her family and friends. The annual party is usually held in New York City or Los Angeles, with Klum and her guests dressed up to the nines. The Celebrity guest list includes Camilla Cabello, H.E.R., Dylan Mulvaney, Rachel Zegler, Alix Earle, Becky G, Valentina Sampaio, Christian Siriano, Taylor Lautner and his wife, Taylor Lautner, and even Elon Musk.
Guests do their best to rock their Halloween costumes, but rarely does anyone come close to Heidi herself. Last year, the supermodel dressed up as a peacock while her husband, Tom Kaulitz, dressed up as an egg. Even to the onlookers, the party looks like a lot of fun. The event is an important tradition for Klum, who has said that it represents “the artistry of transformation”.

Her annual Fourth of July party at her Rhode Island house has also become a well-known event, with a huge celebrity guest list featuring Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, and the Haim sisters among others. These parties usually involve festive decorations and group games, with the “squad” photos later dominating social media.
Other than with her friends, Taylor also loves to party with her fans. She has been known to invite fans for exclusive album-listening parties, even going so far as to bake cookies for them.

Comedy queen and retired host of The Ellen Degeneres Show Ellen Degeneres is also a businesswoman. Degeneres used to run a record company, Eleveneleven, and also owns a lifestyle brand ED Ellen DeGeneres — both business ventures that have put her on the list of one of the richest female comedians in the world.
While she is a self-proclaimed homebody, Degeneres has also commemorated her golden birthdays with the occasional big bash. On her 50th birthday, she hosted a Louisiana-themed funfair on New York Street with approximately 675 attendees. The festival included games and rides, sideshow attractions, street performers, and main stage activities. One interior set recreated the “House of Mirrors” with Ellen sound snippets, while another was transformed into a Pinkberry Parlour. Ryan Seacrest hosted the music show for the evening, an event that featured a live performance by Pink, a Happy Birthday fireworks show, and, of course, dancing.
In 2018, for her 60th birthday, Degeneres hosted an even bigger party, with guests like Drew Barrymore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Melissa McCarthy, Chris Martin, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Oprah Winfrey, as well as Bruno Mars, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Kanye West in attendance. Many of her guest friends took to the stage to perform, including Pharrell, Mette Towley, Sean “Diddy” Combs, French Montana, Alessia Cara, Pink, and Melissa Etheridge.
Michael Rubin

Founder and CEO of Fanatics Michael Rubin may not be a household name, but in the right circles, he is known as the man behind one of Hollywood’s most famous parties. Since 2021, the multi-billionaire has hosted an annual “white party” at his Hamptons house, inviting nearly every prominent celebrity. This year’s attendees included Tom Brady, Kim and Khloé Kardashian, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, Drake, Camila Cabello, Quavo, Emily Ratajkowski, Leonardo DiCaprio, Shaboozey, Mary J. Blige, and Lil Wayne. While it shares its moniker with Diddy’s renowned bashes, Rubin’s are quite different. However, the catch remains the same: visitors must wear all-white clothes.
This year’s party was held on July 4th, featuring GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion, Machine Gun Kelly, A$AP Ferg, Alesso, and Travis Scott as performers on a tennis court transformed into a nightclub. According to The Cut, the DJ skipped all of Lamar’s tunes because Drake was present. This is unquestionably one of the most exclusive parties of the year, with reports even suggesting that those who did not receive an invitation attempting to pay their way into the bash, with fees varying between USD 1 to 5 million.
Diddy’s “white party”

Even though the notion of a “white party” has now been tainted by Diddy‘s legal battles, the annual event used to be one of Hollywood’s most sought-after invites. The biggest names in Hollywood and the music industry attended the parties, but they rarely disclosed the goings-on behind the closed doors of the event. And now we know why.
Attendees of these parties were required to show up in all-white outfits, like in the film White Chicks. Diddy’s White Parties were frequently hosted in the Hamptons or Beverly Hills and gathered celebrities from all across the industry, including models, musicians, politicians, sportspersons, and actors. Diddy’s parties were renowned for their lavish décor and overflowing champagne. In one interview, Diddy said that his events began at around 9 to 9.30 p.m., and often lasted until 3 p.m. the following day, with an ‘afterparty’ taking place on the hotel’s top two floors. While Diddy’s “white parties” have certainly come under scrutiny in recent days, it’s likely that not all his guests were involved in his “freak-offs”.
