Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is just off the back of masterminding a 3-0 thrashing of Rangers on Sunday.

Goals from Daizen Maeda, Kyogo Furuhashi, and Callum McGregor sent the Bhoys on their way to victory in a fixture they have dominated in recent times.

Rodgers’ men were more than worth the three points, reigning supreme over their rivals in every department.

It was a strong showing from the champions, who appear to be in a league of their own in Scottish Football at the minute.

Much of their success so far this season, and throughout last, is down to the manager.

Rodgers cleverly knows how to deal with the media and tactically, is an expert.

As a person, too, he is top drawer, and that was no more coherent than when he recently paid a visit to Celtic’s academy.

Indeed, amidst the international break, the Irishman selflessly took time to speak to several of the Hoops’ young players and coaches:

A classy gesture from the manager, it is pleasing to see him do all he can to help the youngsters and their coaches.

Rodgers is known for helping to develop young talent, and perhaps a few of the players he spoke to could be starring for Celtic’s first team in years to come.
