The Big Stars Involved as Celtic Legends Face Man Utd on Saturday
A team of Celtic legends will travel down to England this weekend to face a side full of Manchester United legends.
The Game is taking place at Old Trafford on Saturday, with a 2pm kick-off set.
Paul Lambert will lead the Bhoys in the dugout. The former Borussia Dortmund man has some notable names at his disposal.
Indeed, Artur Boruc and Lukasz Zaluska are options between the sticks, while Emilio Izaguirre, Darren O’Dea, Stephen McManus, Kelvin Wilson, Mikael Lustig, and cult hero Efe Ambrose could all play at the back.
In midfield, Stilyan Petrov, Scott Brown, Joe Ledley, Barry Robson, Jonny Hayes, and Charlie Mulgrew are all in contention.
Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, Gary Hooper, Simon Donnelly, and Georgios Samaras will hope to provide a goal threat up front.
Bryan Robson is at the helm for United Legends. The services of footballing icons such as Dimitar Berbatov, Wayne Rooney, and Paul Scholes are available to the 67-year-old.
The Game should be an intriguing one. While the players might not be as quick and sharp as they were back in the day, their talent will be clear for all to see.
The Bhoys will get to roll back the years at Old Trafford and hopefully give a Healthy Travelling support something to cheer about on the road back up to Glasgow.
