Hudson Valley Gyro Finds New Hudson Valley Home
Well, the wait is over, and the search for a new home is complete, as Hudson Valley Gyro is back up and running, perhaps in a familiar location to some.
Hudson Valley Gyro Grill and Market is now serving their Greek favorites at the Last Chance Bar & Restaurant, located in the Sumerlin Plaza at 946 Rt. 376 in Wappingers Falls, not far from where 376 and Lake Walton Road meet.
Hudson Valley Gyro has been serving from The Last Chance Bar and Restaurant since the end of February, with the rumors of the partnership between the two Businesses now a reality.
Hudson Valley Gyro themselves confirmed the news on February 28th, sharing on their social media pages that their kitchen/Business had in fact moved to 946 Rt 376 in Wappingers, and would be sharing a space with Last Chance Bar & Restaurant.
The Reason Behind Hudson Valley Gyro's Relocation
After plenty of social media speculation about the closure, Paul, the owner of Hudson Valley Gyro Grill & Market, shared an update on why the closure happened, and they were no longer operating out of their East Fishkill storefront:
We are saddened to announce that our East Fishkill location will be temporarily closed due to the loss of our current lease. This doesn't mean we won't be back as we are in the process of researching our options. Our options currently being another retail location in the area OR with the 'hopeful' cooperation of the Town of East Fishkill can secure the necessary permits for a mobile kitchen or food truck so we can continue to serve our East Fishkill residents with the best in authentic Greek Cuisine.
Thankfully, the Hudson Valley once again is able to find its favorite Greek offerings, just with a little change of scenery!
