Five Holidays Fairs & Markets In The Hudson Valley
With Thanksgiving just around the corner, and then the December holidays not far behind, many people are starting to get in the holiday spirit. While some people will wait until the very last minute to get their holiday shopping done, others are already well into their lists.
Here in the Hudson Valley there's no shortage of creative and crafty people, it seems like everywhere you look someone is advertising something they have created. Here's what we know about five upcoming holiday fairs and markets you may want to check out.
Young Artisan Holiday Fair, Fishkill
Sunday, November 17th from 1pm until 4pm at Fishkill Baptist Church, 107 Rt. 82 in Fishkill, come support student vendors at the Young Artisan Holiday Fair.
There will be various items for sale like baking kits, bath products, jewelry, artwork and home decor. Learn more here.
Christkindltmarkt!, Poughkeepsie
November 22nd 4pm-9pm, and 23rd 10am-6pm, at 27 Old Degarmo Rd, Poughkeepsie, join Germania of Poughkeepsie for Christkindlmarkt 2024. German food, home baked German desserts, plenty of vendors and crafts.
The event is rain or shine, outdoor, under tents. Free parking is available and there is no entry fee. Find out more here.

John Jay PTSA Holiday Craft Fair, East Fishkill
Saturday, November 23 from 9am until 4pm at John Jay High School, Rt. 52 East Fishkill, the John Jay PTSA will host their annual Holiday Craft Fair. Vendors will showcase unique handcrafted items like jewelry, home decor, holiday crafts, clothing and more. There will be raffles, food and even some surprises.

Decemberfest, Poughkeepsie
On Friday December 6th and Saturday December 7th from 4-8pm each day, for Decemberfest at Eastdale. This community event invites visitors to stop by the Eastdale Businesses to shop and dine, and participate in incentives and promotions. There will be raffles for major prizes like gift cards and baskets.
Live holiday music on Friday the 6th, and photos with Santa on Saturday afternoon from 1-4pm before the Decemberfest. Additional information can be found here.

Hometown Holiday Market, Wappingers Falls
Saturday, December 7th between 10am and 4pm, visit the 2nd annual Hometown Holiday Market at 2658 E Main St, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
Last year more than 1,000 shoppers visited with 40 vendors, and this year organizers are planning for an even more magical holiday shopping wonderland. Visitors can expect 'incredibly talented, unique vendors offering locally crafted gems and one-of-a-kind finds.' This event will be part of the Village of Wappingers 'First Saturday.'
