When are the Dallas Cowboys’ open practices and Season Kickoff Ceremony at The Star in Frisco?

The Dallas Cowboys are preparing for their second preseason Game against the Raiders this Saturday and after that, they’ll have less than a week left of their training camp in Oxnard, California. After nearly an entire month in Oxnard, the Cowboys head back to Texas on Thursday, August 22 for the remainder of training camp and to host their preseason finale against the Chargers on Sunday, August 24.

Cowboys’ open practices and season kickoff ceremony at The Star

The Cowboys will hold two open practices at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco on Tuesday, August 27 and Wednesday, August 28.

On Tuesday, August 27, the Cowboys will kick off their training camp events at 4 p.m. CDT with “Cowboys Night” at the Tostitos Championship Plaza. There will be a live DJ and host, mascot Rowdy, Games, prizes, and giveaways. The doors to Ford Center will open at 5 p.m. and the Cowboys’ open practice will be held from 6-7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public with entry on a first-come, first-served basis.

On August 28th, the Cowboys will have their Season Kickoff Ceremony and a second open practice. Doors will open at 5 p.m. CDT and the ceremony begins at 5:40 p.m. There will be a performance by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders as well as comments by owner Jerry Jones. The open practice will be held from 6-7 p.m. Again, the events are free and open to the public with entry on a first-come, first-served basis.
