Tyreek Hill has repeated his call for action to be taken against a police officer involved in the traffic stop last week, but admitted that he should have behaved differently.

I will say I could have been better,” Hill told a press conference on Wednesday, before adding that he believed Danny Torres, the officer who pulled him from the car, should be stripped of his job: “Gone. Gone. Gone. Gone. Gone. He’s gotta go, man.”

“In that instant right there, not only did he treat me bad, but he also treated my teaMMAtes with disrespect. He had some crazy words towards them and they didn’t even do nothing. Like, what did they do to you? They’re just walking on the sidewalk. He’s got to go, man.”

The fallout from Tyreek Hill’s detainment on Sunday continued this week with new video showing the traffic stop, the first interactions between Hill and Torres, as well as Hill being dragged from the car, forced face-down on the ground, and handcuffed.

Hill was pulled over for speeding as he drove to the Dolphins’ season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. At the time, Hill was driving a McLaren 720 supercar. The vehicle costs $350,000 and can hit a top speed of 212mph.

Will Tyreek Hill play for the Dolphins against the Bills?

Despite the testing encounter, Hill was still able to play for the Dolphins on Sunday and he put in a starring performance. Tyreek Hill recorded 130 receiving yards against the Jaguars, the second-highest figure in the opening weekend of NFL action. He also scored a touchdown, catching an 52-yard pass from Tua Tagovailoa to kick-start the Dolphins comeback.

Ahead of Sunday’s game little was known about the pre-game incident involving Hill. In fact, even some of his teammates were unaware of what had gone on just outside the stadium.

This week Hill has received huge media attention relating to the traffic stop and he appeared before reporting on Wednesday to discuss what had happened. It’s undoubtedly been an emotional week for Tyreek Hill but he is still expected to feature for the Dolphins against the Bills on Thursday night. After an impressive opening weekend, the Dolphins wide receiver will be glad to get back to thinking about on-field events.
