Star Man Nicolas Kuhn Admits Champions League Goals Were ‘What dreams are made of’
Celtic winger Nicolas Kuhn was in top spirits after his double against RB Leipzig at Celtic Park tonight.
Kuhn inspired Celtic to victory with his double, turning the score from 1-0 down to 2-1.
The Germans’ ability to take players out of the Game was on show for all to see in a real standout display from a player who last season was written off.
He said: (TNT Sports), “I think it is what dreams are made of. Even better to score against my former club. Unbelievable (result). The fans were amazing and we are really happy with the three points. It was my first and second Champions League goals and I enjoyed it.”
What a night for Kuhn, it’s not often you score your first and second Champions League goals in the same night, and he didn’t look out of place with his ability as a winger in one-on-one situations.
As good as Celtic have seen in recent years, the German has really stepped up a number of gears, something which not many could have foreseen towards the end of last season.
Getting revenge against Leipzig, where he came through the academy, after a number of stop-start spells at European clubs, he has found a home in Glasgow at Celtic, with the crowd well and truly behind him.
