Officials Confirmed for Celtic’s Trip to Tynecastle
The officials for Celtic’s trip to face Heart of Midlothian this Saturday have been confirmed.
The Hoops make their long-awaited return to action after the international break this weekend as they Travel to the capital in search of three vital Scottish Premiership points.
Brendan Rodgers’ men are flying high at the top of the table having won all but one of their 11 league Games so far this campaign.
The Bhoys remain unbeaten domestically in 2024/25 and will look to maintain such a record at a ground they lost at on their last visit.
Some questionable decisions from referee Don Robertson and John Beaton on VAR cost the Celts that day. For this Saturday, though, the SFA have appointed a completely different set of officials.
Steven McLean is down to be the man in the middle, assisted by Graeme Stewart and Daniel McFarlane. Greg Aitken is on VAR alongside AVAR Gary Hilland.
Kick-off this Saturday is at the unusual – at least for a weekend – time of 7.45 pm.
Rodgers and Co. will aim to begin from where they left off last time out domestically. A 2-0 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park, a week past on Sunday, was by no means a classic, but the Parkhead faithful would likely bite your hand for a similar result in Gorgie.
