B-Side New Paltz Expands

Visitors to Main Street in New Paltz are likely familiar with B-Side Grill, a comfort food spot known for their 'Notorious B.I.G Burger Challenge' and a fun music theme running through the decor and menu.

Recently, B-Side expanded its footprint, utilizing the adjacent space to open up a 'Rock N Roll Gift Shop.'

Offering new and used records, rock n' roll merch, and tees, plus what looks like specialty sodas, the shop fits perfectly with the B-Side theme.

At one point in time, a Greek restaurant called Tzatziki Greek Grill offered specialties like spanakopita, grape leaves, gyros, and a whole list of burgers and fries, too. You can reminisce by looking through their old menu here.

Any Burrito Burrito fans? This spot was insanely popular, serving tacos, quesadillas, and empanadas in addition to their signature burritos, and offering fried dough and fried Oreos, too.

Keeping with the music theme, the Boom Box was a funky, very New Paltz spot that once operated at 62 Main Street; 'wings, gyros, beer, gaming' was their claim to fame, and they stayed open until midnight to cater to the late-night college crowd.

Finally, and for personal reasons only, one of my favorite former New Paltz spots, is Rock Da Pasta. The fun interior decor, and the incredible music-themed menu which included items like Nirvana Lasagna and Purple Hazy Caprese, that place got me through many late-night thesis writing sessions in grad school.

So, how'd you do on your memory test, were you able to name these four former occupants, and can you go back even further in time with former New Paltz occupants?
