Valle’s recent displays, particularly in the goalless Champions League draw against Atalanta, have earned high praise, with former Celt Peter Grant commending the young left-back’s composure and impact.

Grant praised Valle’s performance against Atalanta, describing him as “first class” and hinting that Taylor now faces stiff comPetition for the left-back role. “I really like Greg Taylor,” Grant noted on Go Radio, “but it is going to be a fight for Greg now with the wee fella’s performances.”

Valle has brought a different dynamic to Celtic. He’s got electric pace and is really good going forward. When he gets into the attacking third, he’s good at mixing his crosses, with some floated and some Drilled low.

Granted, he’s been slack in some of his passing and has had a few dodgy moments while defending, but all that will improve with experience.

With Taylor now back in training, the comPetition for the left-back spot is intensifying, giving Brendan Rodgers a welcome selection dileMMA.

Valle’s strong showings have not only added depth to the squad but also raised the bar, ensuring that any player stepping into the left-back role will need to perform at a high level.
