It's been announced that EVO 2023 will be returning to the Mandalay Bay Convention Centre in Las Vegas later this year, and the event will take place from August 2 to August 4. Just like always, the event will include a wide range of fighting Games, including new and old titles. The entire lineup has now been revealed via the official EVO Twitch channel, in which we also got the news that Street Fighter 6 will make its debut at the event shortly after releasing on June 2 later this year.

It was pretty much expected for Street Fighter 6 to appear at this year's event considering the significance of the series, though it should be fun to see how comPetitors adapt to a completely new Game so close to its full release. We could even see some new faces in addition to older champions, so the Game will undoubtedly shake things up a bit during this year's event.

Of course, Street Fighter 6 isn't the only Game that will feature, as it was also announced that Guilty Gear Strive will make its second appearance at the event after EVO 2022. DragoNBAll FighterZ, Tekken 7, King of Fighters 15, Melty Blood: Type Lumina, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate were all also revealed to be included this year, along with the return of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 for a proper tournament for the first time in a good long while.

A couple of other announcements we also saw during the show was Tekken creator Katsuhiro Harada promising fans that we'll get more news and gameplay demonstrations for Tekken 8, and that EVO 2023 will be the first event to get rid of the Top 8. Instead, every game announced to be taking part will now feature a Top 6, making the competition for a spot in the finals a lot tighter than in previous events. It's promising to be a pretty great event this year
