It took a while, but once CD Projekt Red finally got Cyberpunk 2077 working properly, we finally got to experience a futuristic world made by the same people who made The Witcher 3. Night City is a sprawling and bustling city which can be considered on par with some of the best video Game open worlds. Unfortunately, the campaign of Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't do a great job of showing you the entire city, but on its own, it's a great world to explore. The one drawback is the food.

There comes a point in the Game where you meet while he's Jackie slurping down a bowl full of ramen while you just stand there like a (cyber) punk. If you're even the slightest bit like me, you're probably wondering why you can't eat the food – some delicious animation with that would be the cherry on top. However, you can finally do that food tour of Night City you've always wanted to do, thanks to a new mod.

The Immersive Food Vendors mod by 'deceptious' allows you to order and even eat various types of food items across restaurants in Night City (thanks, PCGamesN). The description by 'deceptious' says that "you can now actually have an animated snack when you visit them. Works for all of Night City's Food Vendors, the 'Diner Robbery' has 2 drinks replacing 2 food options as he's very insistent on you having a drink. The food does cost Eddies (most food in Game costs 25 each, so they average to that overall but I tired to make the values match the amount and quality of the item being eaten) and do give the same effect as the consumables (well fed)."

While this does add that added layer of immersion, the only things on the menu for now are a sandwich, burger, sushi, an apple, pudding, and a hot dog. Also, these aren't exactly detailed models of food like in Monster Hunter, but they sure give you a satisfying bit and crunch. The same creator has also made the Immersive Bartenders mod, which sees V straight up down any bottle of alcohol they purchase.
