Appalachian State in the first Game faced off against East Tennessee State and they were able to secure the 38-10 victory. At the end of the first quarter they were up 10-0 and they never looked back on the way to the victory. Under center for the Mountaineers is Joey Aguilar and he completed 22 of his 37 passes for 326 yards and two touchdowns.. One area the team can improve with is on the running Game. Makai Jackson had a 47 yard rush, but the other top rusher was Kayne Roberts and he finished with nine carries for 35 yards. In this Game the offense is going to need to be more balanced.

Appalachian State is going to find a way to keep this Game close. I don’t think Klubnik is as good as others thing, and he’s not going to be lighting up the scoreboard here. Aguilar is a solid quarterback and he’s going to have another solid Game. He might not be as good as he was in the first Game, but he’s still going to be solid, and the Mountaineers are going to move the ball. Appalachian State is going to keep this Game close and they are going to cover the spread here.
