Somehow South Carolina Got a Win

South Carolina and their fans can’t be very positive after the way they looked in the first game. South Carolina faced off against Old Dominion in the first game, and they ended up winning 23-19, but it was an ugly game. At halftime, they were up 13-7, but in the second half, they didn’t end up playing as well, and they ended up winning by only four points. South Carolina needs more production from the quarterback position. LaNorris Sellers completed 10 of his 23 passes for 114 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He did rush for 68 yards and a touchdown. Rahyeim Sanders also rushed 24 times for 88 yards and a touchdown. 

If the offensive production doesn’t start ramping up, this is going to be a very long season. This is a good early season test, and if it doesn’t go well, there might need to be some changes within the team. 

Kentucky vs South Carolina Prediction

There isn’t really any reason to be excited about South Carolina heading into this Game, but I still believe they are going to find success. Sellers has to be better, and he will be. Brock Vandagriff threw a couple of touchdowns for Kentucky, but he wasn’t dominant pushing the ball down the field. Kentucky’s offense isn’t going to be as good in this Game, and South Carolina is going to keep this Game close. Back South Carolina to cover the spread. They will keep it within four points.
