Capcom has some big Games coming up this year--namely, the Resident Evil 4 remake and Street Fighter 6, a Game that promises to reboot the franchise in a funky new way. Both Games are highly anticipated and Gamers are hanging on every word Capcom says. And we might be about to get even more info thanks to a media event next week.

That’s according to Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson, who revealed on Twitter that "there's a media event for Street Fighter 6 and Resident Evil 4 Remake next week, so expect more details on both Games soon."

Henderson immediately followed that announcement with a warning that media events don’t "necessarily mean news for the public next week." Sometimes publishers will have media under a set embargo before being able to release more information, although it’s possible Capcom will allow journalists to publish new info right away. We’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for more info starting on Monday.

But even if there's nothing to see next week, Capcom has already revealed a bunch of new information on Resident Evil 4 courtesy of Game Informer's latest issue revealing several new features. Resident Evil 4 Remake will feature side quests for the very first time, tasking Leon with fetching certain items (such as snake corpses) or performing certain tasks (like killing an infected dog). Capcom considered the original Game's quick-time events to be "antiquated," so it replaced them with something more modern. Leon's knife will also break after repeated use, which is something players will have to be aware of when they start using the new parry mechanic.

Ashley has also received some tweaks to how she plays. In scenes where she follows after Leon, she no longer has a Health bar to worry about, but she can still be "downed" if she takes too much damage. Leon also has the ability to ask Ashley to follow closely or hang farther back by using the R3 button.

Resident Evil 4 Remake arrives March 24, while Street Fighter 6 arrives June 2.
