The second day of the 2023 Ryder Cup takes place on Saturday, September 30 at Marco Simone in Italy.

The teams will comPete across four foursomes in the first session on Saturday before switching to the four-ball format for the second session of the day.

What time does the Ryder Cup get underway on Saturday?

The first set of matches got underway at 1:35 a.m. ET (7:35 a.m. local time), with the second session on Saturday getting underway at 6:25 a.m. ET.

Hovland and Aberg become history makers

The Ryder Cup has been played for 96 years and Viktor Hovland and Ludvig Aberg’s 9&7 victory on Saturday was the largest foursomes win ever.

“We were meeting two strong guys – number one in the world and five-time major champion,” Hovland said.

“We tried to not give them anything. We played really solid and obviously didn’t meet a sharp Scottie and Brooks but we played some really nice Golf today.”
