She explains the pram and a backpack she’s wearing are filled with groceries, and when she approaches a parked car in a driveway sticking out onto the footpath, she begins venting her frustration.

“This is what I’m met with, everyday single f****** day,” she says.

“Every single day I go shopping, there’s some idiot parked on the footpath.”

Despite the car obstructing full access to the footpath, the woman manages to walk around it with little difficulty.

In the caption for the video, the Queensland mum explains that the pram could tip onto its side due to having to move onto the grass to get around the car.

The following day, the TikToker posted another video with examples of cars in her area that have been parked over the footpath.

Combined, both videos have been viewed more than 160,000 times.

Many users in the comment section were divided on the issue, with some arguing that it wasn’t a big deal.

“Wow that must’ve been sooooo hard for you,” one person wrote.

“That was the slightest of inconveniences,” another user commented.

“Took no extra seconds to go round. If you look for things to annoy you, you’re always gonna find them,” a third person wrote.

However many pointed out that cars parked over footpaths was much more than just a small inconvenience to people using wheelchairs.

One user wrote: “I used to work (in) disability support and my client wanted to go for a walk, we had to turn around because I couldn’t get her wheelchair past!”

“My mum is paralysed and this is actually a big problem,” another user commented.

“The amount of people in this comment section that aren’t also considering wheelchair users who cannot just ‘go around’ is actually quite concerning,” another wrote.

According to Queensland road rules legislation, it is illegal to obstruct access to and from a footpath.

The legislation states: “A driver must not stop on a road in a position that obstructs access by vehicles or pedestrians to or from a footpath ramp or a similar way of access to a footpath, or a bicycle path or passageway.”

The maximum fine for this offence is $2875.
