In Game 1, The Indiana Pacers were content with letting Al Horford shoot spot-up 3-pointers. The Celtics threw a bunch of ball screens at Tyrese Haliburton with Al Horford being the screener and popping to the 3-point line – most of these resulting in Myles Turner playing drop coverage and Horford leaking out for open shots. We’ll see what adjustments Rick Carlisle makes, but living with the Celtics’ 5th option shooting 10+ field goal attempts may be their best chance at stealing Game 2.

We’re also taking a market-based approach for this line on Horford. Fanduel and ESPN are the only two major books to offer this at 10.5. Meanwhile, DraftKings and BetMGM have already moved this to 11.5.

Derrick White, BOS, Over 4.5 assists (-134)

We’re backing Derrick White to record at least five assists in Game 2 – a number he breezed past in Game 1 with four assists alone in the 1st half.

This is a prop that I will be laddering up to 7 assists, with the best price coming via FanDuel at +260. With the best supporting cast in basketball and White bringing the ball up, he should have plenty of opportunities to give us a chance at cashing this plus-money prop.
