The Memphis Tigers and the Tulane Green Wave meet Thursday in college Football action from Yulman Stadium. Here’s a Tulane vs Memphis prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Tulane vs Memphis pick.

Memphis Tigers Betting Preview

Memphis beat North Alabama, Troy and Florida State over their first three Games, then fell to Navy. The Tigers would take out Middle Tennessee, South Florida, North Texas and Charlotte before another loss to UTSA and two more wins over Rice and UAB.

In the UAB Game back on November 16, the Tigers went into the fourth quarter with a 25-11 lead then scored 28 more points for a 53-18 victory. QB Seth Henigan threw for 299 yards and four scores, while Mario Anderson added 22 carries for 138 yards and a TD.

Tulane Green Wave Betting Preview

Over on the Tulane side, they took losses to Kansas State and Oklahoma over their first three Games. The Wave have since beaten Louisiana, South Florida, UAB, Rice, North Texas, Charlotte, Temple and Navy in succession, though.

In their November 16 matchup with Navy, the Green Wave put up points in every quarter along the way to a 35-0 blowout win. Darian Mensah threw for 138 yards and two TDs with a rush score. Tops on the ground was Makhi Hughes with 22 totes for 82 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Tulane vs Memphis Prediction

I’ll lean toward Tulane. You could probably make a case either way, though; this should be a great matchup. The Wave dispatched a pretty good Navy team without too much fanfare in their last outing, holding the Midshipmen to just 113 yards (13 passing), 2.5 yards per play, eight first downs and 1-of-11 on third-down conversions. Tulane has demolished the scoreboard in the last four Games, posting 34 or more points in each outing.

As for Memphis, they bagged 526 yards (227 rushing), 7.1 yards per play and 31 first downs in their last appearance versus UAB. The Tigers also came up with four takeaways on defense in a pretty dominant win. Memphis has scored well themselves lately with 27 or more points in five straight. Ultimately I like Tulane to power out the cover here, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it close most of the way.
