The Miami-Ohio RedHawks and the Bowling Green Falcons meet Friday in college Football action from Doyt Perry Stadium. Here’s a Bowling Green vs Miami-OH prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Bowling Green vs Miami-OH pick.

Miami-OH RedHawks Betting Preview

The RedHawks took three straight wins to kick off the 2024 season before finally beating UMass in OT. After a loss to Toledo, Miami-OH has since beaten Eastern Michigan, Ohio, Central Michigan, Ball State, Kent State and Northern Illinois.

Matched up against NIU on November 19, the RedHawks took a 17-3 edge into the break. Miami-OH couldn’t find much scoring from there but still held on for a 20-9 win. Brett Gabbert threw for 207 yards and a pick, while Reggie Virgil led the receivers with four grabs for 107 yards and a score.

Bowling Green Falcons Betting Preview

Over on the Bowling Green side, they took three early-season losses to Penn State, Texas A&M and Old Dominion. The Falcons would win five of the next six Games though, taking out Akron, Kent State, Toledo, Central Michigan and Western Michigan.

Matched up against Ball State last weekend, the Falcons held a modest three-point edge at halftime. Bowling Green roared back on a 28-6 run from there however, and took the win 38-13. QB Connor Bazelak threw for 255 yards and two scores. Harold Fannin led the receivers with nine grabs for 125 yards and a TD.

Bowling Green vs Miami-OH Prediction

I’ll probably stick with Bowling Green. The Falcons didn’t have too many issues with a struggling Ball State team in their last outing. Bowling Green posted 362 yards (259 passing) along the way but did muster a tepid 7-of-17 on third downs with nine penalties. Still, Bowling Green is looking pretty good with five straight wins and 23 or more points in each.

As for Miami-OH, they put up a pretty nice defensive performance versus NIU in their last outing—despite giving up 10-of-18 on third downs. The RedHawks surrendered just 242 yards (114 passing) in that one and had two takeaways. Miami-OH has come on strong late this season and scored 27 or more points in five of the last six Games. I like this one to be a shootout with Bowling Green eking out the cover in the end.

Andrew's Free Pick: Bowling Green Falcons -2.5
