Mavericks Logo Was Behind Kyrie Irving When He Stomped On Celtics Logo

Kyrie Irving played an instrumental role in the Dallas Mavericks’ march to the NBA Finals this season.

One year ago, the one-time NBA champ was persona non grata around the league. Dallas’ decision to sign him long-term was admonished and many believed his failed stints with the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets were an indictment on his ceiling a player.

Irving proved a lot of his haters wrong in 2024.

One of the most memorable things that occurred during Irving’s failed Brooklyn run was him stomping on the Boston Celtics’ logo during a Game. This week, eagle-eyed fans noticed what was in the background during that infamous moment:
