The start of the MLS 2024 season has been positive and to some extent served up what was expected of Messi and Inter Miami. The Herons lead their conference with seven points after wins over Real Salt Lake and Orlando City and a draw against LA Galaxy in the first three Games.

Last weekend’s victory over Orlando City has given the team - especially the coaching staff - a huge boost to face the first tough moment of the season, as the team get started in this week’s CONCACAF Champions Cup.

The Fort Lauderdale team will begin their journey in the comPetition which is a priority in order to secure a ticket to next year’s FIFA Club World Cup.

Inter Miami begin gruelling calendar

However, in order to do so, the team must manage themselves in the best possible way and take things Game by Game; the calendar is heading into an already very tight stage in which the physical condition of the players will be fundamental to achieve their objectives.

In total, Inter Miami will have to play 6 Games during the rest of the month of March. That is one Game every three days, which warns of the wear and tear that the coaching staff and especially the players must be aware of.

The tough schedule that Inter Miami will go through in a period of three weeks begins this Thursday, March 7, with a visit to Nashville in the first leg (Thursday, March 7, with kick off at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.) of the round of 16 of the CONCACAF Champions Cup.

Then, three days later, on Sunday, March 10, they will travel to Canada to face Montreal (March 10, 4 p.m. ET/ 1 p.m. PT.) in their fourth MLS match of the season.

Once again, the team will have a couple of days of rest before facing Nashville in the second leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup at Chase Stadium three days later (March 13), a game that will be crucial to maintain their aspirations of winning the Concachampions tournament.

On Saturday March 16, Inter Miami will visit DC United in MLS, continuing with their busy schedule. From here, however, the midweek matches will end and only the two final MLS games of the month will be left on the calendar against NY Red Bulls and NYCFC, on March 23 and 30, respectively.
