1. Lee Min-ho and Park Min-young (2011)

One of the earliest romances Lee Min-ho was confirmed to be in was with his City Hunter co-star Park Min-young. The duo’s romance began on the sets of City Hunter, and the relationship was soon confirmed in August 2011. Young’s agency commented that the two had mutual feelings for each other and were trying to get to know each other better. However, this whirlwind romance soon ended in January 2012. Their agencies confirmed the same, stating that their busy schedules contributed to the short-lived relationship.

2. Lee Min-ho and Park Shin-hye (2014)

Lee and Park Shin-hye starred together in the hit K-drama series The Heirs. Reports of their secret romance started surfacing following the show’s release in January 2014, however, their respective agencies soon denied all such rumours.

A decade later, Park Shin-hye is happily married to actor Choi Tae Joon. The duo welcomed their first child, a son, in May 2022.

3. Lee Min-ho and Bae Suzy (2015-2017)

Lee Min-ho started romancing the Start-Up star in March 2015, and their relationship was the most talked about affair in the whole South Korean industry. The rumours first began to flare up when a Korean media outlet shared pictures of the duo enjoying their time on dates. Soon after, Bae Suzy’s former agency JYP Entertainment confirmed the relationship.

At that time, Suzy was also asked what attracted her to Lee Min-ho in one of Miss A’s showcases. According to Soompi, she said, “He is a deeply caring and warm person, so my interest in him grew. We will continue to meet well.”

Lee and Bae were spotted on several dates during the course of the relationship, including their time in London as their schedules overlapped. There was a point in 2016 when Suzy was even spotted wearing a ring, sparking engagement rumours. While fans were ready to witness the two take the leap, things went the opposite way. In November 2017, JYP Entertainment released a statement confirming the split. While no official reason was stated by the agency, many believed that it was due to a lack of time as Lee Min-ho enlisted in the military.

4. Lee Min-ho and former Momoland member Yeonwoo (2021)

It all began in August 2021, when the Korean media outlet Dispatch spread rumours that Lee and Yeonwoo were in a relationship. The report said that the duo, who had been dating for over five months, first bonded over gaming as well as watching movies. The outlet also shared pictures of them separately, claiming that they’d gone to the cinema together. Their respective agencies soon shut down the rumours.

Yeonwoo further addressed the rumours in a conversation at her agency 9ATO Entertainment. She said while the duo did get close through games, the relationship rumours were a ‘simple misunderstanding’. “I remember getting a headache dealing with the rumours on that morning,” the singer added. Yeonwoo further revealed that her company’s CEO suggested cutting down on playing games because of that incident.

5. Lee Min-ho and Kim Go-eun (2023)

Despite starring together in the drama back in 2020, fans haven’t stopped shipping the two. Fans started speculating that the two started dating back in 2022.
