LeBron James is expected to become a free agent this summer.

While that doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t return to the Los Angeles Lakers, the expectation is that James will explore all his options.

Just in the last few days alone James has openly revealed who he wants the Lakers to replace Darvin Ham with and who he would like it if they want out and acquired via trade. Clearly he is putting some pressure on Jeanie Buss and Co. to make improvements or risk losing him.

This week, James’ good friend Draymond Green revealed his view on what he expects James to do this summer.

“I think the Lakers gotta decide what it is they wanna do,” he argued.

“Are you comfortable going into next season with the same supporting cast that you have? If LeBron decides to leave, what do you do then? Do you trade AD? I think there’s a lot of uncertainty coming out of that organization.”

Green didn’t stop there, though.

“Some people think it’s a foregone conclusion that Bron is going back to the Lakers,” he continued.

“I don’t know that’s a foregone conclusion. If there was something that came along that was interesting, I think he’d look at it. But ultimately, I don’t quite see him leaving LA.”

James’ future is the single biggest story in the NBA right now, despite his team not even being in the playoffs anymore.

What he ultimately chooses to do will have massive ramifications for the league as a whole.

Where will James ultimately be playing come next season? Time will tell.
