Conor McGregor is set to make his highly-anticipated UFC return later this year when he squares off against Michael Chandler at UFC 303.

Ahead of the big match, McGregor has pledged to stop drinking and train harder than ever.

Apparently the moratorium as it pertains to partying hasn’t actually started yet, though. This weekend video emerged of McGregor partying up a storm with his longtime partner, Dee Devlin.

Because of all the excitement surrounding McGregor’s big UFC return, reactions to him partying this way came in quickly:

It is worth noting, maybe McGregor will pull a Ryan Garcia and come back even stronger despite the partying. Some athletes just have that capacity.

If he doesn’t, though – this Chandler bout may be the final one of McGregor’s relatively short, but illustrious, UFC career.

Conor McGregor Has A Title Shot Waiting For Him

If McGregor wins his fight against Chandler, and should Dustin Poirier prevail against Islam Makhachev next weekend, a lightweight championship bout between the two rivals would make a ton of sense.

That said, lightweight isn’t the only belt McGregor can face off for with a win against Chandler.

Welterweight champ Leon Edwards is also interested in a bout against McGregor.

“Why not? Let’s give him the opportunity to become three-division world champion,” Edwards said recently on The MMA Hour.

“Give me the opportunity to take out a guy like Conor McGregor. New York, that would be perfect. That is the fight. I feel like he’s got to take out Michael, I take out ‘No-one-remembers-his-name’ and we’ll go from there. We’ll go to New York, MSG, let’s go!

“That’s the fight. We’ve got business to take care of, but that’s the fight. That’s what needs to happen and it should happen.”

Everything starts with a win against Chandler, though. Can McGregor get the job done? Time will tell.
