Where will the 2024 Wyndham Championship be played?

The 2024 Wyndham Championship will be played at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. The track is a par 70 that measures 7,131 yards.

Lucas Glover won the 2023 Wyndham Championship with a cumulative four round score of 20 under par.

Will the Wyndham Championship have a traditional cut after two rounds?

The 2024 Wyndham Championship will have a field of 156 players to start the tournament on Thursday. Upon the completion of two rounds, a cut will occur. The top 65 Golfers (including ties) will make the cut.

Sungjae Im $10,700

The talented South Korean arrives at this week’s final regular season event on the PGA Tour schedule in outstanding form. Since the beginning of May, Sungjae Im has played nine events. In those nine tournaments just mentioned, Im accumulated seven top 12 finishes, including a third-place result at the 2024 Travelers Championship in June.

I fully expect Sungjae Im to continue his outstanding play on the Golf course in North Carolina later this week.

Jhonattan Vegas $7,500

Jhonattan Vegas arrives at this week’s event on the heels of four consecutive top 27 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a win at the 2024 3M Open two weeks ago.

Vegas certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. In relation to this week’s 2024 Wyndham Championship field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Jhonattan Vegas ranks third in GIR (greens in regulation), 12th in birdie or better percentage, fourth in bogey avoidance, fifth in total Draftkings points scored, fifth in strokes gained approach, and second in strokes gained tee to green.

Jhonattan Vegas finished 15th at the 2021 Wyndham Championship.

J.J. Spaun $7,200

J.J. Spaun has accumulated three top 23 finishes in his last four events played on the PGA Tour, including a ninth-place result at the 2024 3M open.

Last month, Brendon Todd fired a final round 64 at the 2024 John Deere Classic en route to an eventual 12th place finish.

Additionally, Todd has posted quality results at the Sedgefield Country Club in the past. More specifically, Todd finished seventh at the 2023 Wyndham Championship.
