I think it’s fair to say that Scottie Scheffler has been playing well from a key player statistics perspective. Let me be more specific. Alex Noren arrives at this week’s 2024 Paris Olympic Games on the heels of two consecutive top 13 finishes on the PGA Tour, including an impressive tenth place result at the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open earlier this month.

Noren also checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. In relation to this week’s 2024 Olympic Men’s Golf event field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, Alex Noren ranks fifth in GIR (greens in regulation), 11th in birdie or better percentage, second in strokes gained on par fours, and seventh in strokes gained around the green.
