The Chicago White Sox and the Oakland Athletics meet Monday in MLB action from Oakland Coliseum. Here’s an Oakland Athletics vs Chicago White Sox Prediction. This will be the first installment in a three-Game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for the Game.

Chicago White Sox Betting Preview

In their last set the White Sox took on the Minnesota Twins. Chicago took losses 10-2 and 6-2 in the first pair, then on Sunday the Sox took yet another loss 13-7. Starter Chris Flexen imploded on 1.2 innings and six earned runs.

As starter for Monday the White Sox will send out Jonathan Cannon. This year in the first 13 Games (11 starts) of his career, Cannon is 1-5 with a 4.11 ERA.

Oakland Athletics vs Chicago White Sox Prediction

I’ll stick with the A’s I suppose. Probably not touching it, though. Sears is 2-1 in his last three starts. In the two victories he managed just two earned runs in 12.2 total innings. During the loss, Sears coughed up seven earned on nine hits in 6.0 innings. He shouldn’t have too many issues with the White Sox lineup, though.

On Sunday he A’s held the Dodgers to six team hits—and could only muster six themselves. Oakland couldn’t score after the first inning though, which was the major issue. The Athletics should match up well with the flailing White Sox, so a W should be within reach Monday.
