Draftkings Best Genesis Scottish Open Final Round Picks 7/14/24

This Sunday morning, Golf fans will be presented with the final round of the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open.

Before I discuss my Draftkings player selections, let’s take a look at where the final round of the Genesis Scottish Open will be played.

The final round of the of the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open will be played at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick, East Lothian, Scotland. The Golf course is a par 70 that measures approximately 7,237 yards.

The Renaissance Club has been the host golf course for the Genesis Scottish Open since 2019.

I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.

Ludvig Aberg $10,500

Ludvig Aberg arrives at this week’s tournament on the heels of three consecutive top 27 finishes on the PGA Tour, including an impressive fifth place result at the 2024 Memorial Tournament four weeks ago.

Aberg also checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. In relation to this week’s 2024 RBC Heritage field, in the last 24 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Ludvig Aberg ranks second in GIR (greens in regulation), fourth in strokes gained tee to green, third in bogey avoidance, third in strokes gained approach, fifth in strokes gained on par fours, and tenth in driving accuracy.

Upon the completion of this afternoon’s third round at the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open, Ludvig Aberg is currently in solo first place with a cumulative three round score of 17 under par.

Rory McIlroy $11,700

Rory McIlroy arrives at this week’s tournament on the heels of five consecutive top 15 finishes on the PGA Tour, including an impressive win at the 2024 Wells Fargo Championship in May.

In relation to this week’s 2024 Genesis Scottish Open field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, Rory McIlroy ranks first in strokes gained tee to green, 12th in strokes gained approach, first in bogey avoidance, fourth in birdie or better percentage, seventh in GIR (greens in regulation), and first in total Draftkings points scored.

Rory McIlroy certainly checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course History. Since 2014, McIlroy has played the Genesis Scottish Open a total of four times. In those four tournaments just noted, McIlroy accumulated two top 14 finishes, including a win at the 2023 Genesis Scottish Open.

McIlroy will enter tomorrow morning’s final round of the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open with a cumulative three round score of 12 under par.

I certainly ike Theegala’s chances of continuing his outstanding play on the Golf course tomorrow in Scotland.
