This week, the PGA Tour presents the 2024 ISCO Championship. Let’s take a look at this week’s event from a Draftkings perspective.

Before I dive into my DFS player selections for this tournament let’s review the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a golfer’s success at this week’s 2024 ISCO Championship.

Where will the 2024 ISCO Championship be played?

The 2024 ISCO Championship will be played at the Keene Trace Golf Club (Champion Course) in Nicholasville, Kentucky. The Champion Course is a par 72 that measures approximately 7,328 yards.

The Keene Trace Golf Club (Champion Course) has hosted the ISCO Championship since 2018.

Vincent Norman won the 2023 ISCO Championship with a four round cumulative score of 22 under par.

Will the ISCO have a traditional cut after two rounds?

The 2024 ISCO Championship will have a field of 156 players to start the tournament on Thursday. Upon the completion of two rounds, a cut will occur. The top 65 Golfers (including ties) will make the cut.

J.J. Spaun $10,100

The talented American arrives at this week’s tournament on the heels of two consecutive top 23 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a tenth-place result at the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic two weeks ago.

J.J. Spaun certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. In relation to this week’s 2024 ISCO Championship field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, J.J. Spaun ranks first in birdie or better percentage, 13th in strokes gained tee to green, tenth in strokes gained approach, fourth in strokes gained on par fours, and third in total Draftkings points scored.

Carson Young $9,100

Carson Young has accumulated two top 14 finishes in his last three events played on the PGA Tour, including a fifth-place result at last week’s 2024 John Deere Classic.

Due to Carson Young’s quality finish at the 2024 John Deere Classic I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the tournament to see how Young fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2024 John Deere Classic, in relation to the field, Carson Young ranked first in GIR (greens in regulation-86.1%), fifth in strokes gained approach (1.499), fifth in tenth in strokes gained putting (1.081), and seventh in strokes gained approach (2.343).

Hayden Springer $8,500

Hayden Springer has accumulated two consecutive top ten finishes on the PGA Tour, including a seventh place finish at the 2024 John Deere Classic.

It should be noted that Hayden Springer fired a second round 59 at last week’s 2024 John Deere Classic. It was only the 13th time in the History of the PGA Tour that a score of 59 or less has been posted by a Golfer in a single round.
