The 2024 Italian Open will be played at the Adriatic Golf Club Cervia, in Milano Marittima, Ravenna, Italy.

The Italian Open will begin the event on Thursday with a field of 156 Golfers. Upon the completion of two rounds of comPetitive play at the 2024 Italian Open a traditional cut will occur. The top 65 players (with ties) will advance to play the third round.

2024 Italian Open Draftkings Picks

Matthew Jordan $9,300

Matthew Jordan has accumulated three consecutive top 13 finishes on the DP World Tour, including a fifth-place finish at the 2024 Soudal Open five weeks ago.

Due to Matthew Jordan’s quality finish at the 2024 Soudal Open I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the tournament to see how Jordan fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2024 Soudal Open, in relation to the field, Matthew Jordan ranked fourth in driving accuracy (68.3%), first in GIR (greens in regulation-88.9%), fourth in strokes gained tee to green (2.879), ninth in strokes gained approach (1.531), and second in strokes gained off the tee (1.836).

Additionally, Matthew Jordan has played well at this week’s DP World Tour event in the past. Jordan finished 15th at the 2021 Italian Open.

Adrian Otaegui $8,900

The talented Spaniard has accumulated two top 30 finishes in his last three tournaments played on the DP World Tour, including an impressive tenth place result at last week’s 2024 KLM Open.

Adrian Otaegui certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Otaegui is currently ranked first in driving accuracy (68.94%), 18th in strokes gained tee to green (1.02), 19th in strokes gained approach (0.65), 15th in par three scoring (3.00), and fifth in strokes gained around the green (0.58) on the DP World Tour.

Otaegui finished 22nd at the 2020 Italian Open.

Tom Lewis $6,900

Four weeks ago, Tom Lewis fired a third round 70 at the 2024 European Open en route to an eventual eighth place finish.

Similar to Matthew Jordan and Adrian Otaegui, Tom Lewis has posted a good result at the Italian Open previously. Let me be more specific. Tom Jordan finished 16th at the 2022 Italian Open.

In my opinion, Tom Lewis presents the best fantasy value of any Golfer on this slate at the rather low Draftkings price of only $6,900.
