The transfer chatter continues today as the Celtic rumour mill continues to churn out speculation about possible incomings and outgoings this summer.

Today we have seen how Hyoengyu Oh looks on his way out of Celtic after a £3.5m price tag seems to be the fee Genk are willing to pay for the South Korean international.

Gustaf Lagerbielke also seems to be on his way out of the club after Serie A side Lecce returned to enquire about the Swedish defender.

And just this morning, we discussed how Newcastle’s need to comply with England’s FFP rules means that Celtic could get Slovakian goalkeeper, Martin Dubravka, for as little as £1m.

Martin Dubravka signing ‘works’ for Celtic

Already at the Euros, Dubravka has been told he no longer has a future at Newcastle United after links to Celtic emerged.

And pundit, Gordon Dalziel, has outlined the reasons why he believes Celtic could make a move for the Premier League veteran.

Dalziel said [Superscoreboard], “Well they’ve had a go of it and they know it works because Joe Hart was absolutely brilliant for Celtic.

“You can’t buy experience, especially a goalkeeper. He’s 35, and still got a few seasons, Brendan Rodgers will need that to calm down everybody at the back when they’re under pressure because that’s important.

“An experienced goalkeeper, he can organise and make sure that his defence is very tight so I wouldn’t be surprised at that.”

With plenty of first-team experience with both club and country, Dubravka could offer that solidity that is required at the back.

With Celtic being able to offer Champions League Football and the high possibility of winning more domestic silverware as well as first-team Football, a move to Glasgow would appeal to Dubravka as he believes he still has a couple of years left to offer a club.

And if Celtic can get him for as little as £1m, then it is a relatively risk free move for a player who has already proven that he can play at the highest level.
