BLACKPINK’s LISA to Perform at 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
The iconic Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back in 2024 with an all-women performing lineup that includes BLACKPINK’s LISA. Here’s what you need to know.
Prepare for glamour with wings as Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returns in 2024 since staging its last show in 2018. The event, to be held on 15 October 2024, will feature a historic segment to showcase an all-women performer lineup for the first time since its inception. The 2024 headliners to perform on-stage on the runway alongside Victoria’s Secret angels (aka models) are BLACKPINK’s LISA, ‘Water’ hitmaker Tyla, and the legendary Cher.
On September 19, Victoria’s Secret shared through its social media channels that BLACKPINK’s LISA will complete its performer lineup of previously announced acts Tyla and Cher.
This upcoming performance by LISA will also mark the first time a K-pop act headlining a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
No further details on the broadcast of 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show have been revealed yet except that the show will take place in New York City on 15 October.
The 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will also see the return of supermodels Tyra Banks and Gigi Hadid walking the runway.
LISA’s latest music release is ‘New Woman’ featuring Spanish singer-songwriter Rosalía in August 2024. She is expected to perform this song (perhaps an appearance by Rosalía too) with her other chart-topping solo hits like ‘Rockstar’, ‘Money’, and ‘Lalisa’.
LISA most recently won the Best K-pop Award at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. This is LISA’s second time winning this category at the MTV Video Music Awards, the previous happened in 2022 which made her the first K-pop female and first soloist to do so.
Having this pair of awards also meant she’s the second artist ever to win the Best K-Pop category more than once and remains the only female and solo artist to achieve this feat.
