A recent report by the New York Times revealed that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is considering Aaron Rodgers, the New York Jets quarterback, as his running mate for the upcoming US presidential election. Kennedy is also considering Jesse Ventura, the former Minnesota governor and professional wrestler.

Kennedy told the newspaper that he has been in talks with Rodgers for the past month and that Rodgers has been in continuous contact with him during this time. Whether the position has been formally offered to either of them is still unclear, but the New York Times says both Rodgers and Ventura have welcomed the idea.

Aaron Rodgers, a four-time NFL MVP and former Super Bowl champion with the Green Bay Packers, has been vocal about his support for Kennedy. He has mentioned him in several interviews, lauding his policies and beliefs. It is believed that the two share a good rapport.

Kennedy announced his plans to run as an independent in October and is expected to announce his pick for vice-president in the coming weeks. According to the newspaper, he has also approached several other potential candidates for the position. This includes people from diverse backgrounds, including business leaders, academics, and politicians.

Will he throw?

Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the New York Jets, recently expressed his desire to continue playing in the NFL for at least two to four more years. However, with rumors circulating that he may be considering a future in Politics, it seems that his aspirations off the field may coNFLict with his current career.

Rodgers is currently under contract with the Jets until 2025 and is set to earn a guaranteed $35 million in salary and bonuses this season. This financial security, combined with his love for the Game, suggests that he is unlikely to retire anytime soon.

However, if he does decide to pursue a career in politics, he may need to put his NFL ambitions on hold. Campaigning for political office requires a significant time commitment and travel, making it difficult to balance with a demanding NFL schedule. However, the Jets have not commented on the recent reports.
