The 2024 MLB regular season is about to hit its final note, with the last day of games set for Sunday, September 29. No more one-game tiebreakers - so come Monday, it’s a quiet day before the postseason action cranks up. The playoffs begin on Tuesday, October 1, with the Wild Card Series, and from there, it’s a straight shot to the World Series.

This year, twelve teams will battle it out in a four-round format.
