The windy conditions at the Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches in Florida are making it tough on players to score low on Friday. Lots of water hazards, hard greens, tough pin placements and a stiff breeze are frustrating Golfers, who are struggling to make birdies on the bermuda grass greens.

On Friday Chad Ramey and S.H. Kim managed to shoot 7-under par with a group of five Golfers right behind them at -6: Andrew Novak, Ryan Moore, Austin Eckroat, Cameron Young, Chesson Hadley and David Skins.

So, how about some of the big names?

Rickie Fowler is playing some solid golf and is at the top part of the leaderboard after getting an early start of Friday. European Ryder Cup teammates Shane Lowry, Rory McIlroy and Matt Fitzpatrick are currently at 5-under par.

At the moment Sepp Straka, another member of the European Ryder Cup team, won’t be playing Saturday or Sunday after shooting 74 on Friday. Speaking of the Ryder Cup, US team captain Zach Johnson is also a candidate to the miss the cut.
