Video Of LeBron James Taking Darvin Ham’s Board, Coaching Lakers Goes Viral

The Los Angeles Lakers parted ways with head coach Darvin Ham last week following the team’s exit from the NBA Playoffs.

Ham and L.A. going their separate ways was telegraphed in the weeks leading up to the decision. Anthony Davis openly hated Ham. Ditto for Austin Reaves.

Clearly he had lost the locker room.

This week, video emerged showing how bad things got between Ham and star LeBron James. It ultimately culminated in the latter taking the former’s board away from him midgame and ocaching the Lakers himself:

I love Lebron but this is tough.

Imagine being AR, DLO, TP, Rui, or any other player on this team. Especially the younger guys.

If the energy is off between yall coaching staff and your teammates, and you’re stuck between “who do I listen to?”

Clearly Ham wasn’t the right fit for this particular Lakers team as it is presently constructed.

The question is: who would be able to coach this group?

Will the next person they ultimately bring on have more success? An answer one way or the other is coming over the course of the next year.
