Two Hopewell Jct. Businesses Quietly Make Big Changes
Two prominent Hopewell Junction Businesses have made some fairly big changes in the psst couple of weeks that had locals talking.
A longstanding florist and a fairly new, yet very popular Mexican food restaurant have changed names, owners, one even changing locations.
Twilight Florist Under New Ownership, Relocates
A longstanding Hopewell Junction, NY florist has been sold to new owners, and is moving just down the street under a brand new name. Twilight Florist, which has operated in the heart of Hopewell Junction on Rt. 82 for more than 50 years, cited as the 'longest, continuously owned Business by first generation ownership in Hopewell Junction' has sold the flower shop to a new owner.
The closure/move, seems to have come as a surprise to locals, follow along with the chatter in the East Fishkill Community Forum here.
Currently operating at the former Twilight location as The Flower Cottage, and soon to open their doors not far down the street, The Flower Cottage is 'dedicated to making your experience a pleasant one.'
They will soon be serving the area from 1103 Route 82, in Hopewell Junction, The Flower Cottage will be located in the plaza at the intersection of Clove Branch and Rt. 82.
The new location is just across the street from the former Hudson Valley Gyro before it also relocated. Find out where you can now find them, below.

El Guacamole in Hopewell Changes To El Jalapeno
Somewhat of a newcomer to the Hopewell Junction community, El Guacamole restaurant, in the same plaza as the former Twilight Florist, also recently went through an ownership change, and is now operating under the name El Jalapeno.
Noting that they are still offering the same menu, and you'll still see the same staff, El Jalapeno 'cannot wait to continue to serve you.' Known for their authentic Mexican food and hand-crafted margaritas, you'll still be able to get all of your favorites, just under a new name.
