Travis Kelce Gushes About ‘Awesome’ Baseball Date With Taylor Swift, Admits to ‘Mixed Feelings’

Travis Kelce gushed about his recent date night with girlfriend Taylor Swift after they attended the New York Yankees vs. Cleveland Guardians game.

“It was mixed feelings because I was there trying to have some fun with Tay and everybody. All our friends [came],” Travis, 35, said about the date during the Wednesday, October 16, episode of his “New Heights” podcast. “We had [an] unbelievable crew, with us and hanging with us.”

The Kansas City Chiefs athlete – who recalled being “a Cleveland kid” that wanted to see his hometown team win a “world series” – admitted the Game on Monday, October 14, ended in disappointment after the Guardians lost to the Yankees. However, Travis insisted that the night was fun overall.

“And, you know, it was, it was fun,” he told brother Jason Kelce. “Even though the [Guardians] couldn’t pull it off, it was still an exciting, exciting Game. And it was cool to see Yankee Stadium because I’ve always wanted to see that thing in person in a playoff Game, in a hostile environment, and it didn’t disappoint, man. The Yankees, the fans, the players, everybody involved, man.”

Travis concluded the topic by saying that the outing was “awesome.”

The couple, who watched the game from a private box, packed on the PDA throughout the game. They also got to spend quality time with friends including comedian Jerrod Carmichael, his boyfriend, Mike, Patrick Bacon and Gehrig Dieter.

Shortly after photos of Travis and Taylor, 34, at the Game circulated online, many fans rushed to social media to gush about how cute they were. The official MLB TikTok account even weighed in on their presence, and dubbed Travis as Taylor’s “potential future husband.”

Prior to the game night date, Travis and Taylor made the most of his bye week by enjoying dates around New York City. Two days earlier, the couple was spotted on a double date with friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds at The Corner Store on October 11.

Taylor and Travis’ recent dates come after rumors that they signed a relationship “contract,” which dictated that their romance would end on September 28. However, an insider exclusively told Life & Style that their romance is going strong despite the speculation.

“The chatter about a supposed breakup contract was something they took in stride and immediately dismissed as totally ridiculous,” the source revealed on Tuesday, October 15. “They’re not paying attention to the rumors.”

Rumors swirled that there was trouble in paradise after Taylor missed two of Travis’ football games earlier this season, though the insider said that they “are doing just fine.”

“Taylor was rehearsing for the next leg of her tour, plus there was some concern over security at stadiums,” the insider explained about her absences from the Games. “It was by no means a reflection of where they are with their romance, which is still totally rock solid.”

The source went on to note that Taylor and Travis “are the real deal” and that “everyone in their world knows that.”
