Starting November 9, 2024, the Puerto Rico Baseball team will comPete in the 2024 WBSC Premier12 tournament. It is one of the most comPetitive international baseball championships, held every four years and featuring the top 12 national teams from across the world.

The team is managed by Juan González, with a coaching staff that includes Alex Cintrón and Dicky González. Key players include Vimael Machín, Yadiel Rivera, and Dereck Rodríguez, who bring Major League experience to the team.

The roster also features standout collegiate players like John Montes from the University of South Florida and Edgardo Villegas from the University of Miami.

Originally starting in 2015, the Premier12 tournament has grown to be a main event on the international baseball calendar. The fact that the tournament qualifies for the Olympic Games adds even more significance.
