Just a day after scoring for Celtic, Alistair Johnston brought some Halloween spirit to his household by dressing up his dog in a quirky cola bottle costume.

The Canadian right-back has been in fine form this season and shared the light-hearted moment with fans on Instagram.

The right-back, introduced in the 57th minute on Wednesday night, made an immediate impact, scoring within three minutes of stepping onto the pitch. Johnston’s goal, a deflected effort from Yang Hyun-jun’s cross, sailed past Dundee goalkeeper Jon McCracken, adding to Celtic’s lead and securing the points.

This goal marks Johnston’s second in just a few days, following his stunning diving header against Motherwell at the weekend. The 26-year-old has now sits as the third-joint top scorer in the Scottish Premiership.

Despite his limited time on the field, Johnston’s impact was undeniable. His play earned him the in-stadium Man of the Match award, despite coming on as a sub. Celtic’s win extends their lead over rivals Rangers to nine points, strengthening their position at the top of the table.

As Celtic shift focus to the League Cup, they’ll prepare to face Aberdeen at Hampden this Saturday night. With Johnston in fine form and the team riding high, they’ll be eager to continue their winning momentum in the cup comPetition.
