Patrice Rushen “Neglect Me Nots”
Patrice Louise Rushen
(born September 30, 1954) is an American composer, file producer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, music director and vocalist. Her 1982 single, “Neglect Me Nots“, obtained a Grammy Award nomination for Greatest Feminine R&B Vocal Efficiency. Rushen had nice success on the R&B and dance charts, however “Neglect Me Nots” was her solely tune to crack the High 40 pop chart.
