Anna Delvey didn’t have the best experience on Dancing With the Stars, but she’s back in the ballroom for the season 33 finale. Ahead of the Tuesday, November 26, episode, she reunited with pro partner Ezra Sosa and he shared a behind-the-scenes look at their rehearsals.

In the clip, Ezra, 24, poked fun at Anna’s time behind bars by mouthing along to Dan Levy’s Schitt’s Creek character saying, “How many people do you know that are currently in the prison system?” In response, Anna, 33, held up two middle fingers and mouthed back, “Um, I’m pretty sure just two.”

Ezra continued roasting his partner in the caption by adding, “Pretty sure you know more than two babes.”

Although Anna was only in the comPetition for two weeks – she and Ezra were sent home in a double elimination on September 24 – she caused quite a commotion during her short time on the show. From the moment she was announced as a cast member, the convicted con artist received backlash for being allowed on the show and was mocked for needing to wear an ankle monitor as part of the terms of her prison release.

However, it was after Anna’s elimination that she really caused some buzz. When host Julianne Hough asked the fake heiress what she would take away from her experience on the show, she replied, “Nothing.” She and Ezra joked about this in a separate TikTok video, which featured Anna reading off papers that the professional dancer was holding up behind her.

“Guys, I really don’t want to do this, but I’ve been thinking long and hard about my exit from the comPetition,” she said. “Some may think I took nothing away from this experience. But that’s not the truth. I did gain something. I gained a wonderful partner who deserves a raise for dealing with me. His passion and charisma truly moved me to be a better person inside and out.”

Anna previously defended her stance in an interview on Tori Spelling’s “misSPELLING” podcast. “It is what it is and it’s fine,” she said. “And I never had high expectations on the show for myself. It just seems like … it seems like it’s been mostly a negative experience, at least for me, than a positive one.”

She shared her frustration with the show for “rejecting” her, even though she tried to take the advice the judges gave her. “I’m taking away nothing,” she reiterated. “This is what I’m taking away from it – because [their] advice was worthless. The advice [they gave] did not pay off for me, even though I tried to follow it. And this is how I felt. I know people were trying to interpret my answer in different ways, but no, not really. I really did not take away much from this experience.”

Despite the backlash Anna has received, she’s always had the support of Ezra, who has leaned into the headlines made about her casting. In fact, he even got a tattoo of the word “nothing” on his shoulder in October to commemorate his first season as a pro on the dance comPetition series.

During the finale, Anna and all of the other eliminated contestants will return to the ballroom to dance again, while the five finalists comPete one last time in hopes of winning the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. At the end of the episode, either Joey Graziadei, Danny Amendola, Ilona Maher, Chandler McKinney or Stephen Nedoroscik will be crowned the champion of season 33.

The DWTS finale airs live on ABC Tuesday, November, 26, at 8 p.m. ET.
